Left of Oz, Dorothy Comes Out!

Dedication:

Left of Oz was written as comic relief during a sad time in the lives of Stephanie (author), Douglas (choreographer), and Tita Caldwell (Andre and Doug’s mother), as our dear friend, brother, and son, Andre Ward Caldwell, lived his last months as AIDS lymphoma claimed his body. Andre had a smile that could light the darkest room, and always found joy, laughter, and adventure in life, although challenged by being a black gay male in America.

Left of Oz is dedicated to Andre.
